Rachel Deans Greggs, 1998

We are shining the “Alumni Spotlight” on Rachel Deans Greggs who graduated with the 1998 Third Grade class of The St. Christopher School.  After St. Christopher’s she attended Churchland Elementary, Middle, and High School, where she graduated in the top 3% of her class. She also attended The Governor’s School for the Arts during her Freshman and Sophomore years.

Rachel has earned the following degree:

  • University of Virginia, Bachelor’s degree in English Language and Literature

Rachel is currently working as a nanny and as a bookseller at Bay Books Coronado.  She also writes book reviews for the San Diego Union-Tribune and in her free time is learning to play a piano concerto and spends time volunteering as a pet/event photographer for Coronado PAWS (Pacific Animal Wellness Society).

Favorite Memory of CA (formerly The St. Christopher School)

“I have so many– but being Bunny Sue in the school musical was pretty exciting!”

 How did CA prepare you for the future?

“My education at CA was well-rounded and I feel that the nurturing environment helped me to excel in the future both academically and artistically.”
